Dr. Kimberly Brooks is a licensed psychologist with specialized forensic expertise, accredited in California (PSY34339) and South Carolina (1914). She is highly regarded for her work with high-risk populations and her proficiency in forensic psychological evaluations. Dr. Brooks holds a Doctorate in Applied Clinical Psychology from The Chicago School of Professional Psychology, receiving comprehensive training in forensic assessment and evidence-based methodology. Her Master of Science in Clinical Psychology from Pepperdine University enabled her to develop advanced clinical competencies and practical experience in treatment interventions. She completed her Bachelor of Science in Psychology at Texas Christian University, establishing a robust foundation in psychological theories and research methodologies.
During her career, Dr. Brooks has delivered crisis intervention services to individuals experiencing acute distress, utilizing her expertise to support high-risk populations within complex legal settings. She has performed forensic psychological assessments in both criminal and civil matters and has served as an expert witness, providing testimony that has affected judicial decisions. Further, her research assessing risk for violence in individuals has resulted in a published contribution to the field. Dr. Brooks has also developed and implemented curriculum for a sex offender treatment program, as well as providing, sex offender treatment.
Sharon Sherinian's clients receive compassionate, trauma-informed care from an experienced mental health professional who understands the importance of safety, trust, and individualized support. As a Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW), Sharon brings advanced clinical training and professional licensure to her work with clients. She is an Air Force Veteran licensed in California and Mississippi and currently registered to provide telehealth services in South Carolina. Her background includes work in diverse clinical settings, including the VA healthcare system, where she provided inpatient and outpatient therapy for Veterans experiencing PTSD.
Sharon specializes in evidence-based treatment for trauma, PTSD, anxiety, and depression, with a particular commitment to supporting Veterans, First Responders, and adults navigating the effects of difficult life experiences. In addition to therapeutic approaches such as EMDR, Brainspotting, DBT, CBT, PE, and CPT, Sharon may incorporate neurofeedback as an adjunctive intervention to support nervous system regulation and treatment goals when clinically indicated. Her approach is grounded in respect, collaboration, and practical tools that help clients move toward healing and resilience.
